Fun Friday!

I read this post in Lifehacker’s blog titled ” Nine Workspaces Where Famous Folks Get Stuff Done”. Fun stuff! I thought having two monitors was overkill…but now I can say that Al Gore, Bill Gates and I have something in common : D

In the spirit of sharing here’s a couple of pictures of my workspace! I converted our formal dining room into my office (Who has time to cook formal dinners when you are running a business, taking care of two kids, one parrot, one dog and a husband??? It’s backyard bbq’s and neighborhood potlucks for us!) We call it “command central” since I can see the living room and play room from where I sit. I have to turn your attention to the dark wall.  It was a brick red color but I started feeling purple and changed the wall to Gooseberry. It’s my new favorite color!

Here’s a fun little app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s called Gratitude and it’s a gratitude journal that you can keep on your iPhone. I use it when I’m at dance practice with my daughter or waiting for an appointment.

Here’s a neat website that makes pretty word clouds, it’s called Wordle. It’ll take words from your blog, website or just text that you copy and paste into the window.

Wordle gave me a different perspective on my writing when I saw the word cloud based on my blog. To see my word cloud click here.
